One of the best articles about the job search in the past few months from creative and brand consultant called Sputnik. Usually, I stumble upon articles that tell you the same pieces of advice - never ending list of things that you should, what areas you should improve, what courses you should take, how to increase your non-existent skills from 0 to 1000 and what you should learn on top of your official education etc. etc. This article is a bit different, gives you hope that you are not doomed and first and foremost funny! So keep going searching for a job. You’ll get there eventually. Blisters, cramps, chickens, goats and all.

"Job hunt is to some extent same as running a marathon. You’re learning how to deal with rejection and frustration. Something that will come in handy when you land your job. You’re learning to be resourceful. Also vital for any job. You’re learning to connect and engage your audience. To communicate and convince. If you’re going to be in advertising, marketing, or a similar field, those things will all be critical skills to have as well. And you’re learning to persist when you really want to give up. An awesome thing to develop for your job. And for a marathon too, by the way. You know, just in case you want to run one of those sometime."
